Hallowalimuertos Day 1, Outfit

So today being Halloween, I wore my Halloween outfit for the year. Earlier this month, some friends and I throw a fundraising party for our spiritual center with the theme of The Summer of 68 (technically, it was 67 but that didn’t rhyme with our marketing). I found this tie-dyed dressed at my beloved thrift shop, Dorcas, which not only has the best stuff but I know the money goes to many great things they do for our community. I added a flower headband from Michaels and a homemade flower necklace, and that has been my outfit for that party, any Halloween events I’ve attended, and now Hallowalimuertos Day 1.

I will say I got more trick-or-treaters this year than any year since we moved into the house. I did stand in the doorway in my outfit with the lights on whenever I heard any voices or noise in the street, which might have helped. Or maybe it was just the magic of Hallowalimuertos! But I had a good time and gave away more goodies than ever before, which made me happy.

Yay, Flower Power!
