Motivational Music Monday: Easter Edition

The past few weeks I’ve done Islamic and Jewish holidays, so it seems like I should do the Christian holiday of Easter as well. But to be honest, I’ve found it harder to find songs that were just celebratory and uplifting and not focused on Christianity beliefs than other religions.

So this is not a playful song like the last few weeks, but for the most part I think it can be uplifting even if you don’t believe in the Christian religion. And since it is sung by the incredible Kristin Chenoweth (the original Broadway star as Glinda in Wicked), I find it particularly powerful. I hope you do as well.

You can watch it on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/71uXyT5_VT4?si=j8ESzrsBunqk_4bs.

Enjoy and be inspired!

NOTE: I was so sad to wake up this morning to the news that Pope Francis had died at 88. I had already scheduled this post yesterday before the news. But now I dedicate this song to his memory. He seems like a man, even as Pope, who embodied the themes in this song.
