In North Carolina, today is the first official day of summer, the months I think of as the season of exuberance, based on Yoko Ono’s poem, “Season of Glass.”
SEASON OF GLASS
spring passes
and one remembers one’s innocence
summer passes
and one remembers one’s exuberance
autumn passes
and one remembers one’s reverence
winter passes
and one remembers one’s perseverance
there is a season that never passes
and that is the season of glass© Yoko Ono ‘81
May this be a time of juicy, blissful, exuberance for you! What adventures will you undertake in the next three months?
