See You at the TCSL Bazaar in Morrisville NC this Sunday, November 12

For those of you who are within driving distance of the Triangle NC area, BlissFullU will be participating in a Holiday Bazaar this Sunday ,November 12, from 12-4 PM at the Four Points by Sheraton RDU Hotel at 1200 Claren Circle, Morrisville NC 27560. I will be there selling and autographing the first book published by BlissFullU Media (YAY!). It is called Love, Santa: Letters with Life Lessons from the North Pole. It is a collection of 15 years of letters Santa wrote to my son giving him some of the behind-the-scenes details of how Santa, the elves, and his animal helpers manage to pull off Christmas every year.

Here is a blurb about the book:

Operations at the North Pole have changed a LOT since those old TV specials from the 1960s…

You think you’ve got problems? Imagine trying to produce millions of presents in a fragile arctic environment and getting them all to the right people across the planet in a single night. To keep it secret, you can’t have normal employees. Instead, the work is done by a diverse crew of multicultural elves and animals—specifically seals, penguins, polar bears, and reindeer. It’s Christmas Town, so of course everyone LOVES each other…they just don’t always LIKE each other.

In this series of annual letters from Santa Claus to a young boy in North Carolina between 2001 and 2015, Santa reveals all the things that have threatened to cancel his Christmas Eve delivery flights over the years. Just like all of us, the community at the North Pole has to grapple with such issues as global warming, power outages, keeping up with increasingly-complex technologies, unwanted neighbors, and even political division. Most of all, Santa needs to keep his workforce cooperating together. But can loving but retiring seals, visionary but impractical penguins, driven but domineering polar bears, responsible but change-resistant reindeer, and hard-working but stubborn elves really form a cohesive team?

Find out how Santa manages to pull off Christmas, year after year, by relying on the beliefs that differences make us stronger and that we work best when we work together. These funny, heart-warming, and amazingly relatable stories will help keep the true meaning of Christmas alive in your heart all year long.

I edited the book, and my now-college-student son who graciously allowed me to publish his letters also provided the illustrations. It is a wonderful book to get you in the mood for the holidays as well as a reminder that when we focus on our common vision instead of the things we disagree about, anything is possible!

There will be other local authors there as well, along with craftspeople displaying jewelry, photography, artwork, music, pottery, and so much more. It is being sponsored by our spiritual center, the Triangle Center for Spiritual Living, so many of the items are spiritually oriented (not focused on a particular religion).

So come support local artists and businesses in an uplifting environment and get some unique presents for the people who you love (including yourself).

Hope to see you there!
