There are things happy and unhappy during this past Winter. My greatest joy was that my niece had her first child, the first of the next generation of Crosses. My greatest sorrow is that we got into a war that I, at least, think was ill-advised and unnecessary, which has killed over a thousand people and displaced up to one million others.

So I think this song expresses my feelings about leaving Winter and entering Spring in this complicated time.

But I’m going to add another Spring song as well. It follows in the arc of my past few Motivational Music Mondays, and is in honor of my gal pal BC who had such a lovely Spring meditation last Sunday as part of our service.

Spring is a time of gratitude for me, so I hope we are all being grateful and enjoying this lovely time of the year.
