This is the cocktail I had after voting. Because to me, voting is always a celebration. And for the first time in many years, between COVID and my son going to college, I got to vote in person with my son. So it was a special day.

Previously, I was always a Vote On Election Day person. And I always brought my son with me to the polls to instill in him the importance and the significance of voting. Ever since coming of age, he has voted, although mostly by mail because he was away at college. I assume he will be living somewhere else by the next election, so it was special to go vote with him this week.

I hope you will vote this election. Democracy works best when we all participate by voting.
