So after months of campaigning, tomorrow is the final national voting day of Election 2026. Like over 50 million other Americans, I voted early. But if you haven’t, I urge you to do so. You don’t have to agree with me. But Democracy works best when we all voice our opinions. As I’ve said, I’ve … More Motivational Music Monday: Election Day 2026 Edition
In my life and in this blog, I try to be positive. I really do. But it’s hard when our government is doing things that we need to speak out against. I can understand and justifify it in my own mind, but I struggle to present the positive spin on things to others. Happy Semiquincentennial, Everyone! First, I apologize for the long gap in posting. I was just teaching so much in April-June, plus lots of family and other things going on, that I just didn’t have the time or energy or mindset to post on the blog. For several weeks, I’ve been covering the court cases over the election of Allison Briggs to the Supreme Court of North Carolina. After the high from the Raleigh Hands Off rally this weekend had faded a bit, one of my friends asked, “Well, what do we do now?” I have some suggestions I will be offering in later posts.
